Photographer Biography

Laura Burton is an artist and writer specializing in abstract nature photography and creative word works. Based out of Greenacres, FL, her current series:

From, The Tree Museum

Puddle Tales: A Reflective Perspective

are photographic tales that are an evolving experience as every photo captures the reflection of trees in various locations after they’ve been nourished by the rains.

Nature’s elements come into play as they create one-of-a-kind tributes to the trees. Earth meets water and they join to create a perfect looking glass to reflect various trees in all their glory.  Often, the fiery sun dances and winks through the tree branches; the susurration of wind melodic in the leaves, both frequently reflecting in the puddle and captured for perpetuity by her camera lens.

These Puddle Tales are designed to captivate your curiosity and showcase the beauty and intrigue of nature’s splendid mundanity.

Haikus, Japanese poems of seventeen syllables, in three lines of five, seven, and five, traditionally evoking images of the natural world, accompany each of the acrylic depictions in this series.

These original and provocative Haikus capture the aura and essence surrounding each image.
